Before contacting us to submit your application, please understand that Options Mississauga does not offer day programs or walk in services. Our training programs are intended to teach employability skills to adults (18+) diagnosed with a mild intellectual disability, so they can find employment in their community after completion.
Eligibility Criteria (please read carefully)
To apply to any of our programs, applicants must be:
- A legal adult (18+)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Diagnosed with a mild intellectual disability
- Completed high school, and not currently pursuing any additional education full-time
- Able to commute to Options Mississauga
- Committed to personal employment goals
- Able to prepare for, accept and maintain employment
Program Pricing and Payment
All program classes/shifts are two and a half hours long. These are priced according to expenses.
Retail Training Program: $35 per weekly shift
Culinary Program: $50 per weekly class
Visual Arts Program: $35 per weekly class
Horticulture Program: $35 per weekly class, $50 per two weekly classes
Payments are due at the end of each month. You may either send an e-transfer to [email protected], or come to the our physical print shop and pay by Debit or Credit.

Program Application Process
If you are interested in joining one of our programs, contact us at [email protected] with details about your employment goals, disability diagnosis, and any other relevant information. Applicants will attend an interview to determine their suitability. Qualities such as cooperation, motivation, good listening, perseverance, independence, interest, and good personal conduct are important.
