Before contacting us to submit your application, please understand that Options Mississauga does not offer day programs or walk in services. Our training programs are intended to teach employability skills to adults (18+) diagnosed with a mild intellectual disability or developmental delay, so they can discover their passion, and work towards employment and volunteer roles in their community.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply to any of our programs, applicants must be:
- A legal adult (18+)
- Diagnosed with an intellectual disability or a developmental delay
- Completed high school, and not currently pursuing any additional education full-time
- Able to commute to Options Mississauga, either independently or with support
- Committed to discovering and pursuing their personal employment goals
- Motivated to prepare for employment
Program Pricing and Payment
All program classes/shifts are two and a half hours long. These are priced according to expenses.
Retail Training Program: $35 per weekly shift
Culinary Program: $50 per weekly class
Visual Arts Program: $30 per weekly class
Horticulture Program: $35 per weekly class, $50 per two weekly classes
Payments are due at the end of each month, either by online payment, in person, or via e-transfer to [email protected].

Program Application Process
If you are interested in joining one of our programs, contact us at [email protected] with details about your interests, disability diagnosis, and any other relevant information. Applicants will attend an interview and complete a survey to determine their suitability. Qualities such as cooperation, motivation, good listening, perseverance, independence, interest, and good personal conduct are important.
